Journal's policies against plagiarism

Maintaining high ethical standards and integrity of the scientific record is of utmost importance to Smart Medicine Journal. We have a zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism and publication misconduct.

All submissions are thoroughly screened for potential plagiarism or duplicate publication using similarity-detection software. If unethical behavior is detected at any time, we follow guidelines by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on handling misconduct allegations.

Depending on the extent, plagiarism may constitute grounds for immediate rejection or retraction of a published article. We reserve the right to inform authors’ institutions or funding agencies as necessary. Sources contributed to the work must always be properly cited and credited.

By implementing measures to guard against plagiarism, we protect authors’ original ideas, enforce ethical publishing, uphold journal reputation, and provide readers full confidence in accessing our content. Our rigorous screening enables us to publish only genuine, honest research.
